Norton GoBack, was formerly known as Roxio Goback, Adaptec Goback, as well as other names. Goback has been sold and transferred frequently from company to company. Currently, Norton Goback is the only competitive roll-back solution close enough to be shown on the RollBack Rx radar screen. Goback's comparison and competitiveness is limited.
Roxio has also announced a new solution called Roxio Backontrack. Little is known about BackonTrack, primarily because Roxio's Backontrack is relatetively new in the market. We can only assume from its former handling of Goback that Backontrack may not have a long term home at Roxio. Product information can be viewed at the official product website :

BackonTrack does not allow snapshot browsing
BackonTrack can not maintain file versioning in each snapshot
BackonTrack can not recover files from a failed Windows OS
BackonTrack can not take a snapshot of a crashed OS
BackonTrack takes longer to save a system snapshot
BackonTrack's protection needs to be disabled when updating Critical OS or AV definitions
With RollBack Rx the protection is always enabled -
allowing users to recovery from botched OS updates
or incompatible system updates - easily backout
with RollBack Rx.
BackOnTrack keeps a log of everything that has happened since the last snapshot and this log is used to create the proper memory structure when the driver is loaded. If a new snapshot hasn’t been set for a couple of months, then performance degradation will be noticed. RollBack Rx does not degrade system performance as its sector based snapshots are independent and does not use traditional incremental backup algorithms.
